Summary

TeacherActive are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join the friendly and supportive team at one of partner primary schools in Medway.

This varied Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis, particularly supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to help them thrive and reach their full potential. In addition to classroom support, the successful Teaching Assistant will also assist with breakfast and lunchtime supervision, contributing to a positive and nurturing environment throughout the school day.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has experience or a keen interest in supporting children with SEND


    • Is patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child succeed


      • Enjoys working as part of a team and has strong communication skills


        • Can contribute to the wider school life, including breakfast and lunchtime cover
