Job Details:
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
Role: HGV1 Trunking Driver
Vehicle: Double-decker units
Type: Long-term ongoing temporary work
Pay:
£17 per hour Days (incl. holiday pay)
£18 per hour Nights (incl. holiday pay)
Pay Frequency: Weekly
️ Key Duties:
Trunking only – bay-to-bay collections and deliveries
No multi-drop, no handball, no stores
Driving well-maintained double-decker vehicles
Timed runs with minimal waiting around
Safe and professional operation of the vehicle
✅ Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph
Minimum 2 years’ HGV1 experience (for insurance purposes)
Previous experience with double-deckers an advantage
Good route knowledge of Cannock, Staffordshire, and the surrounding area
