Our client is on the lookout for a passionate and customer-focused Employment Engagement Officer to join their dynamic and dedicated team. The Role:
As an Employment Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in helping unemployed individuals take the next step into work. Through tailored, outcome-focused support, you’ll meet each person’s unique journey with empathy, expertise, and encouragement.
You’ll act as the crucial link between job-ready residents and employers — sourcing, securing, and brokering sustainable job opportunities, work placements, and apprenticeships. Your contribution will directly impact the successful delivery of externally funded programmes and our wider employment and skills services.
The ideal candidate:
Has a proven track record in employer account management across multiple sectors, with the ability to secure a wide range of employment opportunities.
Is confident in planning and coordinating recruitment events, employer open days, and impactful marketing campaigns.
Brings hands-on experience in job brokerage, coaching, and training, with a strong history of supporting residents into work through tailored guidance and support.
Is proactive, organised, and confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a person-centered approach at the heart of their work.
