Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver ARE YOU LOOKING FOR CLASS 1 DRIVING WORK on AM or PM start times?
Our well established client, based in Hatfield, requires Category C & E (HGV Class 1 Drivers) to help its busy operational distribution to stores. AM shifts,PM shifts and weekend work available on set shift patterns. You will be working for one the largest clothing and home retailers in the UK, delivering to their stores on day shifts, or trunking to their distribution centres. Delivery of caged goods in their clean well maintained fleet of vehicles, some manual labour could be involved at deliveries. Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site. Minimum HGV driving experience required 12 months.
Main duties will include: Delivery of caged goods to Stores or Distribution Centres Making sure your load is safe and all vehicle and trailer checks are completed Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store Between 1-4 drops per day depending on location Shifts: Various AM shifts start times between 04:00am and 12:00pm Various PM shifts start times between 13:00 to midnight Shift patterns - Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday Pay Rates: Monday to Sunday AM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £20.44 per hour AM Overtime after 8 hours per day £30.65 per hour Monday to Sunday PM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £21.76 per hour PM Overtime after 8 hours per day £32.65 per hour Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Ltd include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holidays) Online payslips Weekly pay Pension Contribution On-going assignments
