Your Role

The Neighbourhood service is looking to recruit an Assistant Team Leader who has experience of working with adults in line with the Care Act to promote and enhance their well-being.

The post holder will provide support with leadership at an appropriate level to establish and maintain a strength-based culture of teamwork, achievement, accountability, and outcome focused. This includes providing supervision and support to the staff team as well as contributing to the ever-developing service.

About You

We are looking for somebody who:

  • Is a team player, who has experience and drive in developing and supporting, newly qualified and experienced social workers to achieve the best they can.
  • Has good time management and organisation skills.

Neighbourhood teams are at the heart of the community, our teams are based in 4 areas that cover Stockport South, North, East and West. We work within the Care Act to support our residents to lead Happier and Healthier lives through wellbeing and prevention agenda. We also look to ensure the safety of our residents under S42 Safeguarding under the Care Act, we do this again with the person at the centre of this, making safeguarding personal.
