Classroom Support Staff Required for September 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:35 am to 3:10 pm (30.42 hours per week), 37 weeks per year (term time)Actual Annual Salary: £16,256 (SWAN Grade 3.3, FTE £23,576)
Knaphill School are looking to appoint enthusiastic and caring support staff to join our team. Working closely with and supported by the Class Teacher and an experienced SENCo, your role will provide additional academic and emotional support for our children. As classroom support within a year group, you will be working as a team around the child; this may require general classroom support duties, working supporting small groups or in some instances working one to one with a child to meet a specific target or need. The role also includes lunchtime supervision. This is a fulfilling position that will give you the opportunity to improve children’s educational outcomes. The successful candidate must demonstrate: A passion and enthusiasm to work with children A positive, patient and nurturing approach towards children An enthusiasm to live and model our school values Be confident, able to work one-to-one and deal with challenging situations A desire and ability to contribute fully to school life and work effectively as part of a team Have high expectations of self and others Be forward thinking and dynamic A flexible, can-do attitude A good sense of humour The ability to communicate with children, staff and parents Knaphill Federation of Schools are a split site Infant (Knaphill Lower School) and Junior School (Knaphill School) in Knaphill, Woking.
