PART-TIME TECHNICIAN TO HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT Post Ref: ED50012181 Temporary for 1 year due to funding 3 days per week / 39 weeks per year Term Time only Grade 3 scp 3 – 6 £24,027 - £25,183 FTE pro rata Start: 1st September 2025 We are seeking to appoint a part-time Technician to the Home Economics Department. The post is temporary from 1st September 2025 to 31st August 2026. Working time is 3 days per week, term-time only which includes INSET days. If appointed, you will join a very successful department. Corpus Christi Catholic High School is an over-subscribed Catholic 11-16 comprehensive successful school with an excellent reputation, located in the north of Cardiff. Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). The post is subject to a Disclosure Barring Service Enhanced Check. This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
