Your new company
An excellent school based in Rugby would like an EYFS teacher to join their Early Years team in September for two days per week, Thursday and Friday - working days are non-negotiable.

Your new role
You will be teaching the nursery class as part of a job share and, therefore, you will have to have excellent communication with your counterpart.
Please a list below of what will be expected:

  • Resourcing the classroom and outdoor environment from the planning that will already be completed and setting up on a Friday after school ready for Monday.
  • Resourcing on their working two days with whatever needs replenishing or changing in the room etc
  • Data input at the end of each term
  • Parent meetings
  • Completing necessary paperwork for children with additional needs (S&L referrals, IEP's and Pupil premium, SEN referrals)
  • Contributions towards end of year reports
  • Attend any necessary meetings (only if staff meetings are scheduled on your working days)
  • Adding to classroom displays
  • Support with planning various educational visits and parent assemblies/workshops
  • Completing observations to support the learning and progress of children (online software)

This role does go above and beyond the role of a supply teacher, with this being said, you will be paid to scale for this particular role.

To be successful

  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • Experience with teaching in EYFS
  • You must have experience of teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT
  • Be flexible, approachable, understanding and empathetic

What you'll get in return

  • Flexible working options available
  • Exclusive access to long-term and permanent teaching opportunities with our partnership schools.
  • Daily pay rates are comparative to permanent members of teaching staff (AWR legislation).
  • An expert consultant to offer support and guidance
  • Refer a friend reward scheme - £250 for every referral
