Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Walsall – Hybrid (3 dpw in office)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 25-30k DOE
A great opportunity to grow your career in in-house recruitment. You may not have heard of South Staffordshire PLC, but we're the
group behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, Echo Managed Services, OnSIte, and several other businesses focused on the
utilities and infrastructure water sectors. With around 3,000 employees across the UK, India, and Australia, we’re a dynamic group
offering long-term career development.
You’ll be joining an established resourcing team of four, supporting recruitment activity across the group. We’re looking for
someone who’s highly organised, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is keen to develop their recruitment career over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, providing end-to-end
administrative support across our recruitment processes. You’ll be starting off being the pivotal point for administration
activity within the team so you’ll need to be efficient and really good at prioritising your workload! Key responsibilities
include:
* Posting job adverts via our ATS (hireful)
* Auditing and reviewing job adverts for quality and accuracy
* Sifting CVs and, in some cases, shortlisting and screening candidates
* Supporting the setup and communication for assessment centres
* Coordinating interview scheduling and confirmations
* Keeping our ATS up to date – candidate status updates, closing down requisitions, general housekeeping
* Cross-checking data accuracy between ATS and recruitment trackers
* Supporting the creation of recruitment process maps
* Providing holiday cover across the resourcing team
* Assisting with recruitment projects and process improvement initiatives
* Managing the central recruitment inbox and responding to queries
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience in a recruitment administrative role (either agency or in-house)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confidence using an Applicant Tracking System (experience with hireful is a bonus!)
* Strong IT skills – particularly Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and candidates at all levels
* A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in internal recruitment
What You’ll Get From Us
* A clear development path toward managing your own vacancies and stepping into a Recruitment Business Partner or Advisor role
* Exposure to recruitment projects, process design, and continuous improvement
* A supportive and collaborative team environment
* 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Employer pension scheme
* The chance to be part of a team shaping how we do resourcing across the group
