The Sous Chef will play a key role in organising and overseeing all aspects of food production, with a strong focus on strategic planning to drive growth and profitability.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of ISS’s largest Defence contracts, working within a dynamic and high-profile environment.

Job Description

The role involves supervising and controlling meal production in line with budgetary requirements, while ensuring full compliance with client expectations, company policies, and statutory regulations.

This is a significant operation encompassing a busy staff restaurant, a coffee shop, and regular hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities

Support all kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef/Chef Manager
Maintain food costs within budget
Ensure full compliance with company HSEQ policies and procedures
Deliver excellent customer service and uphold service standards
Implement company marketing and promotional activities
Control and monitor food waste levels
Report equipment issues and adapt to maintain uninterrupted food service

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience in contract catering
Ability to manage and lead a team
Experience in hospitality and staff restaurant environments
