We currently have an excellent opportunity for a HGV Driver to assist our Customer Services Operations and help us fulfil our commitment to provide our clients the best experience.
Every day is different: there are new places to visit, new people to meet, and new hire equipment to deliver and pick up.
Your personal qualities are wanted as much as your knowledge and experience. We expect you to be a fantastic brand ambassador because you'll be the face of Empire Hire Group and the first person that the majority of our clients will see. You'll be this colleague who goes above and beyond to assist your peers and customers.
- You will be operating a lorry to transport rental equipment across the neighbourhood
- Maintaining security of load when loading, transporting and delivering machines
- Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with machine operation
- Carry out daily checks on vehicle
- Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs operation and working time
- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.
Schedule: 5:00 to 14:30 Monday to Friday. 6 hours for 1 Saturday every 4 weeks.
Previous multi-drop experience.
Class 2 licence
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes).
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
Experience of driving a low loader, car transporter, recovery vehicle or delivering construction equipment is highly preferred.
