With a growing portfolio of care homes across the region, we are seeking an experienced Regional People and Resourcing Partner to join our team and drive people-focused strategies that enhance performance, compliance, and staff wellbeing.
The Role:
As a Regional People and Resourcing Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to Home Managers and Regional Leaders, providing expert guidance. You’ll play a key role in shaping culture, driving engagement, focuses on talent acquisition, organisational design, employee relations, and regional compliance while aligning people strategies with operational objectives and ensuring we deliver high standards of care through effective people management.
This role does require travelling across all of our Aurem Homes in the North and South Region.
Key Responsibilities:
People Partnership:
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor to regional leaders, supporting workforce planning, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management support.
- Drive employee engagement strategies tailored to local needs and organisational culture.
- Support change management and business transformation initiatives.
Resourcing & Talent Acquisition:
- Lead regional recruitment efforts, driving retention, developing culture that attracts and retains the best people who deliver the best care
- Develop localised talent pipelines and workforce strategies aligned with current and future needs.
- Partner with internal TA teams, external agencies, and hiring managers to ensure efficient hiring processes.
- Monitor and report on regional recruitment metrics and performance.
Workforce Planning & Deployment:
- Collaborate with operations and finance to forecast headcount, manage labor budgets, and align staffing plans with business cycles.
- Support onboarding and workforce integration across sites.
- Identify and address skills gaps and resourcing challenges across the region.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws, employment standards, and internal HR policies across the region.
- Coordinate consistent application of HR practices while allowing for regional nuances.
- Conduct audits and maintain HR documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Data & Reporting:
- Analyse and report on key people metrics including turnover, time-to-hire, and engagement scores.
- Use data insights to inform regional people strategies and improve talent outcomes.
About You:
You must be a people-focused professional with a passion for supporting others and making a difference. With a strong understanding of People and Resourcing practices, you’re confident advising managers, leading on employee relations, and implementing initiatives that support a high-performing and compassionate workforce.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Regional People and Resourcing role, ideally within the care sector or a similarly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of HR best practice
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience
- Confident dealing with complex ER cases and advising senior leaders
- 5–7 years of progressive HR and resourcing experience, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site role
- Proven track record in strategic recruitment, workforce planning, and business partnering
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned regions.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, workforce analytics)
- Proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused
- Exceptional people management, and communication skills.
