About Us...
Advinia has been providing high quality, person-centred care, specialised for older people and focusing on resident wellbeing for over 25 years. We operate 36 Care Homes across the UK and each is led by a team of experienced and dedicated care professionals who are committed to always prioritising the individual needs of Residents.
Our Mission...
Our B Happie theme guides everything we do, aiming to create an environment where residents and staff feel valued, respected and happy. We promote three key pillars which keep our residents feeling connected, relaxed and safe. For staff, we help to make them feel fulfilled, recognised and have purpose.
Our Values…
Care: Do you strive to provide the highest standard of person-centred care?
Compassion: Are you kind and empathetic?
Courage: Are you driven to progress?
Communication: Do you consider yourself a good all round communicator?
Commitment: Are you passionate about excellent care?
Competence: Are you able to work well within a team but also on your own initiative?
Your Responsibilities...
Sort washing into relevant groups, where applicable, and process it through the washer, drier and iron. Keep clean and dirty linen separate within the laundry area.
The following priorities apply:
Bedding
Towels

Return the Care Home's washing to the linen cupboard, dining room and the kitchen.
Perform minor repairs to the Service users’ clothing.

Ensure the laundry room is clean and tidy. On a daily basis: wash down wasters, dryers and laundry bags; clean lint trays/vents; mop floors.
Use appropriate protective clothing when dealing with soiled/infected linen.
Ensure statutory Health & Safety standards in the laundry area.
