Elevate Your Impact: Specialist Teaching Assistant at a Groundbreaking New School
Location: Torton, Kidderminster
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to apply your expertise in a truly transformative environment? We're not just opening a new school in Kidderminster; we're establishing a dedicated sanctuary for children and young people (ages 5-19) with ASC/SEMH needs. This is a rare opportunity to join us from day one and play a pivotal role in shaping a culture where every student can truly thrive.
A Deeper Calling for Your Expertise
This isn't your typical TA role. Drawing on your proven experience, you'll be instrumental in crafting a safe, structured, and vibrant learning space. You'll move beyond supporting lessons to strategically mentor, guide, and champion students who experience the world uniquely. Your mission will be to build robust, transformative relationships, celebrate every individual breakthrough, and leverage your skills to unlock each child's full potential. You'll be a key part of our founding team, directly influencing the success and well-being of our students.
We're Looking For Seasoned Professionals With:
-
A demonstrated history of empathy, resilience, and a profound belief in the potential of every child.
-
A proactive and creative approach to complex challenges, informed by your past experiences.
-
Essential: GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/C or above).
-
Significant experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Your practical knowledge will be highly valued.
Your Career, Re imagined and Supported
This is more than just another job; it's a chance to build a legacy with purpose. We are deeply committed to investing in our staff. You'll receive comprehensive, specialist training to further hone your skills, opportunities for funded professional qualifications, and a robust benefits package that genuinely supports your well-being. This includes a health cashback plan, exclusive Perkbox discounts, life assurance, and free on-site parking.
