Woodview School are recruiting for a Lead Housekeeper to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping.

You will will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the school, support the school with relevant paperwork and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

Set in its own private grounds, Aspris Woodview School provides holistic support to children and young people aged 7 to 19 years with autism.

The curriculum design enables students to follow a broadly mainstream curriculum to accredited qualifications, preparing them for adulthood and the world of work.

The successful candidate will have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork in completed and a good knowledge of health and safety legislation applicable to the role, along with the following characteristics:

Communication - During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.

Organisation - As well as supervising the staff team, you'll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.

Attentive - No two jobs will be the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
