Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering career? This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and expanding organisation within our Projects Engineering Department.
At Axium Process, we specialise in hygienic process design, membrane filtration systems, CIP systems, and stainless-steel fabrications. We engineer innovative, efficient, and sustainable process solutions for industries including pharmaceutical, food & beverage, dairy, and chemicals.
With 64 employees operating from a 30,000 ft² manufacturing facility in Hendy Industrial Estate, Swansea, we are committed to becoming the number one provider in our market.

About You – Knowledge & Experience
We are looking for a motivated engineer with:
• A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
• Experience in process manufacturing and involvement in designing and specifying process equipment.
• Knowledge of thermo/fluid dynamics, instrumentation, and control (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong documentation, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project Management experience (essential).
• Immediate start preferable.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will:
• Design process flow diagrams, defining instrumentation and control requirements.
• Source and procure fluid handling equipment and materials for plant construction.
• Supervise workshop-based plant construction and liaise with workshop personnel.
• Manage projects from inception to final acceptance, including design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning—often on-site with customers.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety-related studies.
• Collaborate with customers throughout project progress.
• Prepare cost estimates for sales quotations, including calculations involving fluid/thermo dynamics.
• Conduct pilot plant trials both at our Swansea facility and on customer sites.
• Prepare detailed trial reports.
• Travel regularly within the UK and occasionally overseas.
• A valid driving license is required.
