Crynodeb
I am looking for a reliable and caring individual to assist with my 15 year old son. He has Downs Syndrome; he is very friendly and responsive to the right person.
I am looking for someone for four hours on alternate Saturdays.
The job is based in Uphall.
The post is on alternate Saturdays, it would be to take my son to his sports club, he also enjoys going to the park to play football and basketball, going ten-pin bowling and trips to the cinema.
A driver willing to use their own vehicle during work would be useful.
The rate of pay is £14.24 per hour. The employer also uses rolled up holiday pay, so an additional 12.07% will be paid on top of the hourly rate in a payroll period to take account of holiday pay. this will equate to roughly £1.71 per hour extra or roughly £15.95 per hour with added holiday pay.
Ideally, I would like someone with experience of working with a young person with a learning disability, and who is a PVG scheme member or willing to join the scheme. References will also be required.
Please apply as soon as possible by sending in your CV. CV should quote reference EW WN WL and be emailed to pajobs@lothiancil.org.uk
