Crynodeb
Job Summary : To work autonomously to provide a comprehensive advanced assessment, diagnostic, treatments, and management of patients with complex needs. The post holder will provide advanced experience and knowledge within the field of diabetes within podiatric medicine and must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and be qualified to administer local anaesthetic. To provide advanced clinical expertise across the service area, participating in the development of professional competences and participation in professional appraisal systems. The post holder will be an expert resource for patients and will promote and facilitate self-management principles in appropriate patients. The post holder will work in collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, to promote excellent standards of care to patients in line with any local or National principles/guideline, and to provide education to professionals, patients and their carers by encouraging independence and self-management.
