Day-to-Day Supply required - Worcester and Redditch area
Your new school:
At Hays Education we're looking for reliable and passionate day-to-day supply teachers to join our team from September 2025 within the Worcester and Redditch area. This role is suitable for primary teachers looking to teach from Reception - Year 6. However, if you have an area of expertise, then this will always be listened too!You'll be supported by a dedicated consultant who will take the time to really understand your preferences and teaching styles, and ensure you're placed in roles where you feel confident and can make a real impact. Supply offers teachers a great work-life balance!
Your new role:
To be successful as a supply teacher within the Worcester or Redditch area, you will need to be available from September 2025, either part or full-time, as well as the below:
- Being able to adhere to the school's behaviour policy
- Confidently being able to deliver pre-planned lessons
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child feels safe, supported and ready to learn.
- Hold the relevant qualifications such as QTS, PGCE or ECT
- Being able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff
- Ensure there is a smooth transition for an end-of-day handover upon the return of the regular class teacher
- Mark all work in line with school policy.
What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in this new supply job, you will need to be adaptable and flexible and be able to deliver pre-planned lessons effectively and support each child in staying on track with their learning. It is essential that you create a calm and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every pupil feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. You will also need to be able to clearly communicate with staff, pupils and parents, alongside following the school's behaviour policy, ensuring that the school's expectations are being upheld and meeting their expectations. You'll be expected to manage marking and feedback where needed and ensure a smooth handover upon the return of the regular class teacher to ensure that the normal class teacher can effectively pick up from their absence.
