Summary
Are you a strategic marketer with a passion for purpose-driven work? Do you thrive on building high-value relationships and delivering impactful campaigns? Mencap is looking for a Senior Trust Marketing Manager to join the Mencap Trust Company in London and help increase awareness of the benefits of trust funds for vulnerable individuals. Your work will directly contribute to growing the number of families supported by our organisation.
This role focuses on raising awareness of the benefits of setting up a discretionary trust or disabled person's trust with Mencap Trust Company for a loved one with a learning disability or autism.
This is a part-time role (22.5 hours / 3 days per week), with flexibility to increase up to full-time. Minimum commitment of 2.5 days per week. We are flexible with where you work, but there will be occasional travel to our London office.
Do you have the key responsibilities to be our Senior Trust Marketing Manager?
- Develop and deliver a new marketing strategy centred on families, intermediaries, and other third parties to increase awareness of Mencap Trust Company and the benefits of setting up a trust with us.
- Proactively identify and follow through on marketing opportunities, monitoring the effectiveness of marketing activities and adapting your approach as necessary.
- Support the wider Mencap Trust Company team to improve customer journeys and referral opportunities throughout the trust lifecycle.
- Leverage being part of the wider Mencap group, developing relationships and joint-working with network partners and the Royal Mencap Society’s wills & trusts, communications and media teams, among others.
- Build effective relationships and marketing initiatives with key external partners, including our investment management partner, legal and financial professionals and other organisations and networks specialising in trusts or supporting vulnerable people.
- Be a great team player and support Mencap Trust Company's wider work and undertaking ad hoc projects as required.
Do you have the required skills to be our Senior Trust Marketing Manager ?
- Significant experience in developing and delivering effective marketing plans.
- A track record of building strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams and organisations.
- Confidence in managing multiple marketing channels and tools, including digital platforms and print materials.
- Great communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences including families, professionals, and intermediaries.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and results.
