Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver CLASS 1 DAY DRIVER - SEASONAL HAY & STRAW CARTING
The Best Connection is an employment business recruiting on behalf of our client.
We have an immediate start for a driver for a 3 - 4 month seasonal contract carting hay and similar products for our client based outside Goole in East Yorkshire.
The first 2 weeks of the contract will require very early morning starts at 01.00. After the first 2 weeks starts are at the drivers discretion around 06.00 each day. Work is Monday to Friday in the main but occasional weekend work may be requested.
Applicants must have good strapping skills to secure the load. Previous hay haulage experience would be an advantage.
PAY & TERMS £ 15.00 PER HOUR MON TO FRI £ 22.50 PER HOUR SATURDAY ALL BREAKS PAID GUARANTEED MINIMUM 9 HOURS PAY PER DAY Applicants must be over 25 years of age and have at least 1 years experience at driving HGV CE Class 1 articulated trucks. Maximum 6 minor points and no DR, DD or CD endorsements.

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- CPC Driver Qualification Card
- Digi-Card Required
- Driving licence required
- Licence - Category C+E
- Requirement to Understand Tachos
- Ongoing Assignment
- Overtime Available
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
