Contract: Full Time Salary: £22.88 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full TimeLocated in the heart of the new Greenlaw Mains community in Penicuik, Glencorse is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home opening soon. Designed around comfort, wellbeing and dignity, it will offer high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for up to 54 residents in beautiful surroundings.

What We Offer

What You Will Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of our care team, delivering safe, person-centred clinical care while supporting a positive and inclusive environment. You will lead by example on shift, mentor Care Assistants, and ensure best practice is followed in every aspect of care. From building trusted relationships with residents and families to supporting your colleagues with confidence and compassion, your leadership will help shape life at Glencorse from the very beginning.
You will take pride in developing personalised care plans, managing medications safely, supporting nutritional needs, monitoring health conditions, and working closely with families and healthcare professionals to provide holistic, high-quality care. Your presence on the floor will ensure excellent communication, consistent standards, and a warm, respectful environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC PIN
- Previous care home experience is an advantage, but not essential
- A kind, compassionate and professional approach
- Strong clinical judgement and excellent documentation skills
- A team player who thrives in a values-driven, person-led environment
- A passion for shaping high-quality care from the ground up
