The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Administrator to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be a part of our administration team supporting the Complex Safeguarding and Youth Justice Teams.
The Youth Justice service is a specialist multi-agency team for children and young people aged 10-18 years old (and their families) involved in the criminal justice system, following court proceedings, or who are identified as at risk of entering the system.
The Complex Safeguarding Team is a specialist multi-agency agency team for children and young people who are seen as being exploited, or vulnerable to exploitation. The aim of the team is to reach, intervene and reduce the risks faced by children who are vulnerable to exploitation or other forms of serious and organised criminality.

You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to help children, young people and families achieve their potential. Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.
The administrator role is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied. Duties include (but are not limited to):
Provide admin support for the Complex Safeguarding and Youth Justice Team; arrange meetings and take minutes of Complex Multi-agency meetings; send letters and minutes of meeting to young people and carers; retrieve and collate documents from various sources; update relevant information management systems; single point of contact for Court results; format Court reports; design and update trackers for teams; reception cover

You will work closely with the Admin Team Leader and other members of the Admin team.

Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.

About You
You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision. You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work. You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and have good systems skills.
Experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well-presented documents is essential, as is a demonstrable ability to handle cash and be able to record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures. Possesses excellent literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and be proficient in the use of packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
You will have experience of taking comprehensive minutes at conferences or multi agency meetings
