We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team in the contract catering industry. Within this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the financial and back of house administration of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Job Description
Essential:
- Strong Excel and Power Bi skills
- Strong Presentation Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality industry
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of EPOS systems
Daily Tasks:
- Reconciliation of previous day’s revenues & takings and entry into day-books software
- Entry of purchase invoices into day-books software including approval of digital invoices
- Raising of sales invoices (deposits, final spends) on day-books software
- Input data onto Daily Tracker spreadsheet and distribute to management team
Weekly/Monthly Tasks:
- Close week on day-books software
- Debt analysis and report
- Chasing customer debt
- Future business analysis and sense check
- Weekly paperwork submission to central office
- Sales & Cost analysis for client presentations
- EPOS updates, data upload and download, product management
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly through all mediums and be able to engage with other people to build rapport. As well as a keen eye for detail, our ideal candidate will possess some knowledge of the catering and hospitality world, with a can-do attitude and will be analytical and tenacious in their approach.
It is essential for applicants to be proficient with Microsoft Excel and have a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
