Administration and Business Support - Glencorse Care Home
Contract: Full Time Salary: £30,248 Per Annum Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40Situated in the heart of the new Greenlaw Mains community, Glencorse Care Home is a purpose-built, luxury home set to open soon. Designed with comfort and wellbeing in mind, it will provide high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 54 residents in beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms.
We are now seeking a confident and organised Business Administrator to support the successful launch and day-to-day running of our new home. This is a unique opportunity to join from the commissioning stage and help shape the systems, culture, and experience from the very beginning.
What We Offer:
- £14.56 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, free onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
What You Will Do:
You will work closely with the Home Manager as a key member of the management team, overseeing all administrative functions within the home. From greeting visitors and managing enquiries to handling payroll, HR records, recruitment,staff rotas, and resident contracts, your role will be central to the smooth operation of the service.
You will line manage the front-of-house team and act as the first point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals, ensuring every interaction is warm, professional, and efficient. As part of the commissioning team, your proactive approach and attention to detail will help establish strong systems and a positive workplace culture from day one.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced setting, ideally with office management responsibility
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
- Friendly and professional communication style with confidence engaging a wide range of people
- Experience supporting or leading a reception/front-of-house team is desirable
- Positive, solution-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent service
