An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Art and Food Technician who is passionate about maintaining a supportive learning environment to create positive experiences for pupils. We are looking to recruit someone who is able to successfully contribute to the whole school ethos of Learn, Grow, Thrive and Flourish and to effectively support all staff within the school to develop excellence in learning, teaching and wellbeing.

The Governing Body at Pencoed are seeking to appoint a hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Art and Food Technician. Supporting the Expressive Arts AOLE (Art) and Health & Wellbeing AOLE (Food), School Business Manager and Headteacher.
If you are the exceptional Expressive Arts (Art), Health & Wellbeing (Food) AOLE Technician that we are looking for, you will:
• Have a professional manner and approach• Have specialist knowledge and skills in relevant areas
• Have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills ensuring an ability to deal with people/situations at all operating levels• Be an excellent team playerGrade 3 (SCP 4), £24,404 (£12.65 p/hr) Pro Rata – 30hrs/week, (Term time only)Shortlisting Date: Wednesday 9 July 2025
