Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to inspire the next generation of designers and makers. The successful Design & Technology Teacher will teach KS3 and KS4 D&T, including product design, resistant materials, and graphic design, encouraging students to develop both practical skills and design thinking.

As the Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons


  • Manage workshop safety and resources


  • Lead pupil design projects and support GCSE coursework


  • Develop links with local businesses and organise enrichment activities


    What We’re Looking For

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


    • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Design & Technology or related field


    • Experience with workshop tools, CAD software, and practical teaching


    • Passion for fostering creativity and problem-solving skills
