Location: Doncaster (hybrid working – 1–2 days office per week)
An established and growing law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its expanding specialist team based in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for claimant clinical negligence work to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm offering hybrid working and an excellent benefits package.
The Role:
- Handling a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters including
misdiagnosis, surgical errors, delayed treatment, and birth injury claims
- Progressing cases from initial enquiry through to settlement or trial with support
from senior colleagues where needed
- Drafting legal documents, witness statements and instructions to counsel
- Managing client relationships with empathy and professionalism
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider department
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in clinical negligence (claimant experience essential)
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail and ability to handle a caseload
independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Experience using case management systems
