We are looking for a kind, patient, and proactive PA to support Sadia, a non-verbal autistic child, in the evenings and during school holidays. Sadia is a bright, smiley young girl who enjoys running around, playing at soft play centres, visiting parks, and being gently encouraged in her daily routines.
Hours:
Term Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6pm–8pm (4 hours per week)
School Holidays: 8 hours per week (flexible – can be Thursday, Friday, or weekends, including daytime)
Key Responsibilities:
Encourage play with toys and books
Support self-care routines (e.g., eating, dressing) through gentle instruction and demonstration
Supervise and engage with Sadia at home alongside her mum and sister
Take Sadia on short outings (parks, soft play, etc.) while ensuring her safety in public
Support her in a calm, consistent, and encouraging manner
Requirements:
Experience supporting autistic children or managing challenging behaviour is desirable
Must be patient, attentive, and encouraging
A driver with access to a car is preferred for occasional outings
Must be comfortable working in a family home environment
This is a rewarding role for someone who is calm, caring, and enjoys helping children grow and thrive in their own unique way. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
