A kind, reliable, and adaptable Personal Assistant (PA) is required to support a middle-aged man living independently in Weybridge. This is a rewarding, flexible role assisting with day-to-day routines, personal care, and household tasks, with core support needed across mornings, evenings, and night.
Key Responsibilities:
• Morning support (8:00am – 10:00am): Personal care (body wash, dressing), breakfast preparation, domestic tasks including laundry and changing bed linen.
• Evening support (4:00pm – 6:00pm): Assistance with toileting and evening meal preparation.
Hours:
• Support needed seven days a week, including bank holidays.
• Job share options are available – we’re open to applicants who can commit to part of the schedule.
• Bank staff also sought for covering annual leave or sickness.
About the Role:
• Hoisting (transfers from wheelchair to bed/toilet) is required, with ceiling track hoists installed and full training provided.
• You will work in a calm home environment, supporting someone who enjoys music, photography, the theatre, and live concerts.
• Applicants should be kind, caring, patient, and willing to learn. Prior care experience is welcomed but not essential.
Additional Info:
• This is a contracted role (PAYE or self-employed). No cash-in-hand arrangements.
• The role may be subject to a DBS check.
• Flexibility for emergency situations or occasional additional cover is ideal, but not essential.
If you're a thoughtful, trustworthy individual with a good sense of humour and a willingness to make a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.
