The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a high-profile commercial environment requiring critical and non-critical maintenance. Our client has a Critical National Infrastructure site in Romford and offices in Stratford. Travel within an Hour of Romford is preferred in an emergency, to meet our obligations. Travel to Stratford would only be whilst on shift and in an obsolete emergency. Candidates must have a strong technical understanding and must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the commercial building services environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a progressive company, which offers great career opportunities.
Shift pattern is days only 7am to 7pm, 4 on, 4 off.
Main Duties
Close working relationship with the Client and Mitie Team members. Be the first point of contact for planned and reactive work whilst on shift. Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner. Act as the Duty Authorised Person (LV) whilst on Site. Compile quotations to client for remedial and improvements. Have a detailed understanding on Trend BMS systems. Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work. Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system to always ensure 100% compliance.
What we are looking for
City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical installation or recognised equivalent. 18th Edition. Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services. Previous HV and or LV switching experience and training preferred. Knowledge and full understanding of UPS, Scada PMS / PME systems. Health & Safety Training. A good understanding and experience with Maintenance of Electrical / Mechanical Plant. Chillers, Down flow A/C, Chilled Water systems and pumps. Compliance awareness L8, Statutory and Mandatory Inspections.
