Hourly pay rate: £12.21 - £15.00 rate will be determined by experience and level of tasks that can be met

I am looking for a patient PA who has understanding and experience with neurodiversity to help support my 15 year old daughter who is autistic and struggles with mental health. She is a loving and caring young lady with a great sense of humour. Weekday tasks will be to assist with the school run morning and afternoon. Weekend tasks will be to slowly build a connection with my daughter to help her improve life skills in the home and within the community.

Duties include:

Personal grooming
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Cooking
Companionship
Initially, role will simply be to provide a ‘sitting service’ whereby you are in the house whilst I am out so that she is not left on her own. The priority in this instance will be to ensure she is monitored, safe and able to engage when she can.
The role will evolve to helping to promote positive life-skills – i.e., assisting in making food, keeping room clean and tidy, gaining independence in and out of the home.
Supporting and promoting daily personal hygiene routine and importance of looking after ourselves
Promote positive engagement within the home with family members
Support accessing social and leisure activities ie. on family days out, or 1-2-1 when the relationship is strong enough.
Candidate qualities:

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Honest and cheerful
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common-sense approach.
