Personal Assistant- Accrington
An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to an autistic young boy with ADHD within his home and local community.
Responsibilities:
● Provide assistance with taking him on days out.
● Support in encouraging development of independence and life skills.
● Acting as a friend and mentor
● Exploring new interests and hobbies
● Assistance with participating in activities as a family
● An interest in the great outdoors and associated activities would be a distinct advantage.
Candidate Requirements:
● We seek a caring, proactive, and motivated individual with a genuine passion for supporting others.
● Previous experience in a similar role is essential as is a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
● A driver with a full, clean driving license and own vehicle is essential.
Position Details:
This is a part time position and hours are split between 5 hours term time and 8 hours non-term time and will include some weekends. Hourly rate of £12.21 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
