Our client a leading steel distributor, is looking to recruit an experienced Guillotine Operative to add to their dedicated & committed team.
Key responsibilities:
~ Operate guillotine machinery to cut steel to precise specifications
~ Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
~ Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
~ Maintain equipment and report any faults
Essential criteria:
~ Previous experience operating guillotine machinery (preferably in a steel or metalwork environment)
~ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
~ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
~ Good timekeeping and a positive work ethic
This role will involve working with various heavy machinery.
The working hours are 0830 - 1700 Monday to Thursday & 0830 - 1230 on a Friday.
An immediate start is available after successful interview.
