What skills and experience we're looking for
Be an excellent teaching assistant who has high expectations of self and others and is:
Passionate about enabling all learners to achieve success.
Have excellent knowledge of the curriculum for the phase in which they work coupled with theability to secure successful learning for all children with a wide range of learning needs.
Be committed to raising standards and developing the best education for all pupils
Deliver high quality learning experiences for pupils which promotes independence, work
flexibly and responsively, according to the needs of the learner
Be able to use their own initiative
Be a patient and resilient practitioner
Have excellent communication skills in order to develop positive relationships with children,staff and parents
Work well as part of a committed and inclusive staff team
Have experience delivering phonics, preferably with the Little Wandle scheme
We need someone who is:
Passionate about children’s learning, progress and well-being
Experienced in working with children supporting both individuals and groups of learners inaddition to providing high quality support.
Committed to achieving high standards of learning and behaviour for all learners
