Crynodeb
The successful applicant will work 7 hours per day, 3 days a week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. An average working day would be - 08:30 - 12:30 Clinic - 12:30 - 13:00 Lunch - 13:00 - 16:00 Clinic Key Responsibilities: Perform venepuncture (blood taking) on patients of varying ages in a safe and efficient manner. Accurately label and prepare blood samples for transport to the laboratory. Ensure all procedures are documented correctly using clinical IT systems. Provide a calm, reassuring experience for patients, particularly those anxious about blood tests. Adhere to infection control, health & safety, and confidentiality policies at all times. Maintain phlebotomy supplies and ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas. Support the clinical team as needed during clinics or health checks, if trained to do so. Work collaboratively with other clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
