Job Title- Admin Assistant for Attendance and Admissions
Actual Annual Salary: £11,634 - £12,681- 20 hours per week, term time only + insets
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,136 – 27,398 (CLF Grade B). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract type: Permanent, Term Time Only + Insets

Start Date: 1 September 2025 Are you seeking a part time admin role within a team who support students and parents with attendance and admission matters? We are looking for an Administration Assistant for Attendance and Admissions to join our supportive and talented team at King’s Oak Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning, you will be joining two established admin teams across both primary and secondary sites.
Under the direction of senior staff, the Administration Assistant will provide general administrative and clerical support to the academy, working closely with our Attendance and Admissions officer. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the administration function within the academy. About you:
You will:
Good literacy and numeracy competency evidenced by GCSE Maths and English.
Understanding the importance of attendance, transition and in year applications.
Knowledge of good practice/procedures in regard to ensuring compliance with data protections (GDPR)
Good understanding of using office equipment – e.g. photocopier.
King’s Oak Academy is situated in the heart of the South Gloucestershire community and is within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Bath. The academy has been part of the Cabot Learning Federation since 2011 and benefits from being part of a mature, successful MAT (Cabot Learning Federation) which offers access to excellent professional services and opportunities to work in collaboration with experienced professionals across the Trust.
