Position: Swimming Pool Venue Cleaner
Type: Full-time / Part-Time / Seasonal
Pay Rates: Up to £12.21 per hour depending on age
Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Swimming Pool Venue Cleaner, where you’ll help ensure our pool and leisure areas are pristine, safe, and inviting for our guests to enjoy their splash-filled adventures!
We’re seeking reliable, detail-oriented team members to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our swimming pool facilities. If you take pride in high standards, love working around water, and enjoy keeping things sparkling clean, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning and sanitising of swimming pool areas, including poolside surfaces, changing rooms, showers, and toilets.
- Ensure high hygiene standards are met, especially in wet areas, to maintain a safe environment for guests.
- Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues, such as loose tiles or equipment faults.
- Handle and store cleaning materials and pool-safe chemicals responsibly.
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines and adhere to pool hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience cleaning swimming pool or leisure facilities is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
