An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated senior pharmacist to join our established clinical pharmacy team supporting surgical services at the Broomfield Hospital site.
The pharmacy department at Broomfield Hospital is a professional, forward thinking department which gives all staff the opportunity to develop their full potential.
If you are interested in the role and believe you hold the qualities we require, then apply today!
You will be based at the Broomfield Hospital site and will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, working alongside the wider pharmacy team to provide excellent care to patients undergoing surgery across the Broomfield site. You will be professionally supported by the MSE Clinical Lead Pharmacist - Surgery & Theatres.
You will have excellent communication and negotiating skills working closely with patients and multi-professional teams throughout the women and children’s team. You will be able to work under pressure and alone with excellent prioritisation skills.
You will ideally be (or working towards being) a qualified independent prescriber having achieved a minimum of a clinical diploma in pharmacy practice (or having equivalent experience).
A proportion of your working week will be allocated towards supporting patients requiring parenteral nutrition. This will involve close multi-disciplinary working with dietitians and clinical nurse specialists, among others.
In return for your hard work and commitment we will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in a friendly, structured environment supported by an excellent team.
Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and well being of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
