Crynodeb
The quality management of medical placements is crucial to ensuring an excellent learning experience for post-graduate medical residents. The Trust is responsible for the training of residents doctors and clinical and educational supervisors (consultants) to ensure that the requirements of the Royal Colleges and General Medical Council (GMC) are met. There are around 100 residents doctors within the Trust and 60 clinical/educational supervisors, both of which are located across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire at a variety of inpatient and community clinical bases. In addition, the Trust is responsible for ensuring that the training posts which residents doctors occupy are fully accredited by the GMC.
