Are you passionate about helping learners achieve their potential? We are seeking committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team in Reading, providing crucial in-class support to students with diverse learning needs in Further Education.
Whether you have experience in education, care, or support roles-or are looking to start a rewarding career-this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, both one-to-one and in small groups
- Assist in delivering inclusive lessons that engage all learners
- Encourage learner independence, confidence, and participation
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective support strategies
- Monitor student progress and contribute to reporting processes
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people or adults with additional needs in educational or care settings
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work in different learning environments and with varied learner needs
- Relevant qualifications in learning support or care are desirable but not essential
