Are you passionate about supporting learners and making a meaningful impact in education?
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our team in Surrey, providing essential in-class support to students with a range of learning needs in Further Education settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in education, support work, or care who are looking to contribute to students' development and progress in a flexible and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with learning difficulties, disabilities, or additional needs
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum and developing independence
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement support strategies and classroom adjustments
- Encourage learner engagement and positive behaviour in and out of the classroom
- Record and report on student progress and support provided
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people or adults with additional needs (in education or care settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to different learning environments
- A relevant support or care qualification is desirable but not essential
