TEAM: Adult Learning Disability Team
CONTRACT: 3-Months assignment, to be reviewed
HOURS: 36 hours
HOURLY RATE: £33.42 per hour
The London Borough of Bromley, Adult Learning
Disability team are looking for a Social Worker to join
our friendly but hard-working team. The role
comprises of care management work such as
completing strength-based care act assessments,
MCA’s, occasional management of duty, annual
statutory reviews, CHC, COP work Safeguarding and
longer-term case work.
The Learning Disability team provides care
management and safeguarding support under the
Care Act 2014 to people over the age of 18 who
are in need of community care services. These
include services for people with LD and or Autism
and people who provide unpaid care to friends or
family.
The successful candidate will need to be able to
work according to the relevant legislation for
people in need of support, plus people over the
age of 18 who have a Learning Disability. In
addition to the ability to assess and review people
in receipt of care and support, the candidate will
need to have excellent report writing and
computer skills. Record keeping is a vital and
necessary part of the job. Being able to
communicate effectively is central to the role.
