Crynodeb
We are an 18th century, family-run 17 bedroomed hotel located in the market place of Spalding. Our bar is popular with shoppers in the day time and those looking to socialise on an evening.
Due to an increase in trade we are looking for friendly Bar Supervisor to join our team.
You will be based between both venues (The Red Lion and The South Holland Centre) so some shifts can be very busy, particularly if serving for functions/panto and can be an after midnight finish - so please ensure you have appropriate transport to accommodate this before applying.
The hours will be around 30-35 hours per week but shifts will be a mix of day time, evening and weekend work. You must also be available to work high volume days such as Flower Parade day, Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day etc.
The job will involve certain quieter hours of lone working so the applicants must be at least 18 years old due to licensing laws.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be friendly and outgoing.
- Ideally have previous supervisor experience in a role with similar transferrable skills or be able to demonstrate that they were working towards achieving this level.
- Be approachable.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Possess a can-do attitude and be able to think on their feet.
- Be flexible with their working arrangements.
