HGV Driver – Class 2
Location: Kent - London and the South East
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Seeking experienced and responsible Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a well-established and growing waste management fleet operating across London, Kent, and the South East. This role involves driving a variety of commercial vehicles Class 2 (CPC) Recycling and Refuse collection and transport services
Key Responsibilities:
Perform FULL daily vehicle checks and complete Vehicle Defect sheets at the start and end of each shift
Ensure all vehicle CCTV systems are operational prior to starting your route.
Vehicle check, paperwork, incidents.
Present Tachograph card for weekly downloads
Ensure vehicles and trailers are clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times
Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and safe working procedures
Be flexible to work from different depots and operate various vehicle types when needed
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Good geographical knowledge of London and the South East
Excellent driving skills and understanding of road safety regulations
Proven HGV driving experience
Full LGV Class 2 license (with no more than 6 points and no DR convictions in the past 5 years)
Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
