NOW HIRING: VNA & Reach Truck Drivers – Day & Night Shifts | Chesterfield

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading Chesterfield-based client, recognised for its supportive, people-first culture and strong team environment. We’re looking for experienced Warehouse Operatives with either a VNA (man-up) or Reach Truck licence to join their growing team.

Whether you prefer day shifts or night shifts, we have opportunities available!

Current Openings:

1. VNA Warehouse Operative (Day Shift)

• Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30 – 17:00

  
  

• Pay: £12.21/hour + overtime (Time & Half / Double Time)

  
  

  2. Reach Truck Driver (Night Shift)

  • Hours: Monday to Friday | 22:00 – 06:00

    
    

  • Pay: £13.50/hour (plus enhanced overtime pay)

    
    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Operating VNA or Reach Forklift Trucks to retrieve and move stock safely.

      
      

    • Order picking from pick sheets and verifying stock using a computer.

      
      

    • Supporting the warehouse team with general duties as needed.

      
      

      Note: Day roles are approximately 80% order picking, 20% FLT operation. Night shift is more focused on FLT use and replenishment.

      What You’ll Need:

      • A valid VNA or Reach Truck licence (in-house accepted).

        
        

      • Previous experience in warehouse operations or order picking.

        
        

      • Reliable transport to get to and from site (especially for night shift).
