Lecturer - Beauty Therapy
Location: Hayes
Salary: £19,473 to £27,156 (actual salary for 21.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
Contract Type: Part Time
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join a vibrant team delivering high-quality education and training. Based in a fully equipped, industry-standard salon, you will teach across a range of Beauty Therapy courses including full-time City & Guilds Levels 2-4, as well as commercial short courses and advanced treatments involving laser and skin rejuvenation.
This part-time, all-year-round role is an excellent opportunity to shape the next generation of beauty professionals while working in a supportive and professional environment.
- Teach and assess learners on a range of Beauty Therapy programmes, including Levels 2-4.
- Deliver short courses and evening classes in advanced treatments such as laser hair reduction and skin rejuvenation.
- Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of work, and learning materials to meet learner needs.
- Support learners with personalised feedback, guidance, and progress tracking.
- Maintain high standards in both practical and theory delivery in line with industry expectations.
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Minimum Level 4 qualification in Beauty Therapy
- Qualified Assessor
- Level 5 teaching qualification recognised in the Further Education sector
- Minimum of 3 years' industry experience in Beauty Therapy
- Experience teaching, training, and assessing in a Beauty Therapy context
- Qualified and experienced to teach and assess:
- Level 3 Advanced Epilation
- Level 4 Hair Reduction using Intense Pulsed Light Systems
- Level 4 Skin Rejuvenation using Laser Systems
- Recent experience teaching across both full-time and part-time learners
- Experience delivering commercial or CPD short courses
- Ability to adapt delivery for a range of learner abilities and backgrounds
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Familiarity with current industry trends and evolving treatment technologies
