Job Summary:
Vertas Group Limited is looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join the Facilities & Environmental Services team at Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins.
• Clean classrooms, toilets, corridors, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safeguarding protocols.
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS check (required prior to start).
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in a school setting.
