Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can truly influence lives, support a dedicated team, and keep care standards at their best—all while being part of a company that values you?
At Home Instead Telford South, we’re looking for a compassionate and capable Weekend Supervisor to take the lead in ensuring smooth operations, excellent care delivery, and strong team support during weekends.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Acting as the go-to person during weekends to ensure everything runs smoothly
Supporting and mentoring Care Professionals—your guidance makes all the difference
Responding quickly to calls and care alerts, keeping clients safe and reassured
Managing changes to schedules and communicating clearly with clients and staff
Conducting client visits, quality checks, and service reviews
Using our care systems (People Planner, IQ) to log and manage updates
Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families
Supporting emergency visits if needed and ensuring all concerns are followed up
Why You’ll Love This Role:
You’ll be empowered to make real-time decisions that positively impact clients and colleagues
You’ll be trusted to take ownership of weekend care delivery and staff support
You’ll be supported by a passionate leadership team who truly care about your development
You’ll be rewarded by the impact you make—and by seeing the results in happy clients and a motivated care team
What You’ll Bring:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
Experience delivering personal care and supervising teams in a care setting
Confidence using care systems (e.g., People Planner), with the ability to guide others
Knowledge of MAR sheets, medication procedures, and care regulations
Strong communication skills—you build trust quickly with clients and Care Professionals
A calm, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for making things better
Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite) and willingness to learn new systems
A caring nature and a genuine commitment to supporting others
This is more than a job—it’s a chance to lead with heart, make weekends run seamlessly, and help people live well at home.
Ready to take the next step in your career with purpose and pride?
We’d love to hear from you.
