Job Purpose/Summary:
Improve gas cell design and sealing to manufacture alcohol vapour filled IR absorption calls with stable fill pressures. Validate
performance of these improved design gas cells within a Gas Filter Correlation sensor.
Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
* Following the Analox research process, manage research project from definition through to completion of the work.
* Identify key design elements and processes that must be maintained when transferred through to successful manufacturing of
product designs.
* Identify suppliers and partners in supply chain and manufacturing as required.
* Demonstrate the research outcomes:
* To the design team so that the product can be productionised.
* To internal and external customers in the form of presentations and papers.
* Keep records of all research activities so that they can be readily picked up again in the future.
* Support design team in productionising research outcomes.
* Implement improvement in the research process through measurable performance indicators
